  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can anyone in L.A make some cables this week?

I'd love a female to male extension for the Battery. And a longer LCD cable.
I'm only in L.A. for a couple of days. Who's my best bet? I've emailed Brian Goff in Switzerland but would love a quick solution that I can perhaps get checked at RED.
Thanks

If you cannot find an individual to help you, contact PACIFIC RADIO (pacrad.com) on La Brea & Santa Monica. They may be able to help.

Alternatively talk to John over at COFFEY SOUND (coffeysound.com) or LOCATION SOUND.

All three of these companies may be able to have a battery cable for you same day.

Pacific Radio does not carry LEMO Connectors. Their Cable division "No Shorts" may be able to bring them in. Check with Art Soto, 323 969 2035.
If it's just simple 4 Pin XLR-XLR no problem there.

My LEMO Supplier has to bring in the 6 Pin inline sockets I've ordered for something I'm working on, I was told there would be a 2 week delivery time.

The 16 Pin LCD would be a tricky cable. Heck while in town, why not ask the RED cable people to make them up...
