  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can anybody with an EPIC please shoot some slowmo for me i have a request

I have a Producer whom would like to rent an EPIC and is looking for slowmo test footage.
Preferably involving liquid.

If you Own an EPIC and are willing to shoot some slomo test footage of liquid please let me know and post a sample test for me.

Also what is the current highest FPS the EPIC will do today..

the shoot is in LA last week of this month and I have not decided whos EPIC they will rent yet or even if they will rent one.
 
I do not have an Epic but last I heard the highest fps that an Epic can reach is 96fps or 48fps in HDRx mode.
 
Tom Lowe's video shows it all at max fps at 5k. not much liquid in there but will give you a good sense how slow 96fps is, at no compromise to resolution.
 
Well I cannot show you any Spiderman footage shot at 72fps in stereo but it works like a charm and changing the menu takes less time than my Red MX.

Have your producer give me a call if he wants to ask some questions.

MIKE wow thansk for the offer i was away for a moment im running around shooting with my head cut off.

if possible what ever you can shoot with liquid black white blue anything i dont know what youve got in mind but im all for seeing it plz

Mike got your message, and your video links thank you its been very helpful they have decided to go with an EPIC to shoot the slowmos.
