  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can a CF card be recovered from a 7D camera?

Like REDundead for RED footage on CF cards
is there anyway to recover a CF card from a Canon 7D camera?

It is being used as the C camera on a production with 2 RED cameras.

Yep. Mine just corrupted the other day after a live performance shoot. So needless to say, I was pissed off. But I used a program called PhotoRecover or something like that and it managed to pull everything of the card, even stuff I had deleted from before. It was like $30 I think... defiantly worth it.
 
Search for Data Recovery Software in Google, it'll give you plenty of results to choose from. Most of the programs don't cost much and work wonderfully.

I have personal experience with http://www.easeus.com/ software and it worked wonders on an ancient hard-drive that was foobared. I actually used it even today to retrieve some files for a friend. But depending on your needs - you might be able to find free software or something cheaper if needed.
 
I've worked with Dive Genius in the past to find corrupt/lost files and directories.
