I have a FCP Sequence edited with ProRes HQ 422 files converted from R3D files.

I want to swap the files with RED Proxies so i can then use Crimson to run threw Redcine .

I received the project in this condition so if you have any ideas please let me know.

Before deciding to try this proxie idea.
I did use Crimson which kinda worked. It did relinked from the Converted prores files to the R3D files and make me an XML that opened in REDCINE but when i bring it back to FCP the timing is terribly off and all over the place so thats not a solution.
Im talking 3,4,5 and 6 seconds off set, unpredictable.

Any ideas? thanks

Luis,

You can directly go to Crimson assuming the prores clips still holds the original clips names. If there's any special suffix are added to the clip names, then choose Substitution in the Match Rule, so it will find preres clips with some suffix added.

Other way would be recomforming using ClipFinder.

Crimson seems to make some crazy off set frames and does not lock up properly.
ClipFinder couldnt get that to work.

Are there any other options?

Thanks Kaku

Ah, I know why, they didn't capture the whole clips when they converted to the ProRes.
