Camera Shutdown with Hot temp indication?

For last one week our camera shutdown with Hot temp indication inspite of having the Fan in Hot Mode both in Exterior and Interior (Non-A/C floor) after one hour. Expecting a solution from Red Team.

Just sharing my experiences which may or may not be of use to you. I have been able to complete three feature films and working on a fourth right now in Hot and Humid Vietnam. Keeping the camera in shade at all times possible and giving the camera breaks in between shots have allowed my shoots to go uninterrupted for 99% of the time. There was one instance where my RED was on a car mount shooting in direct sunlight..and it got the hot temp warning. It only happened one time during that whole shoot though.

In Ghana (hot and humid) I have just accepted the fact that I need ice packs and use them ALL the time. No probs after that.

In Chennai, I would think icepacks would be an indisposable accessory. Though the camera assistant would need to be alert to the condensation.

Camera heats up on AVM Shooting Floor and Sankara Hall A/C floor on 23 degree celsius.

Was that directly after being outside in the sun, or other hot conditions, or from a cold start?

I'm a little surprised, i thought the RED ONE had beaten the overheating issue pretty much. Good thing to keep in mind and prep for when the conditions may push it.

Using ice packs in Phoenix, Arizona as well. Gotta have em above 95 degrees- even in the shade. No problem now.

Reality is Film Cameras not uses these kind of things and you cant ask people to carry anywhere and its impossible.

If I need to have Ice Pack in Shooting Floor, people wont like to shoot on Red.

Need to have some kind of heat solving mechanism, Since Laptops have better heat management these days.
