Hi all,
Anyone had frames in a R3d ever come out like the crop from a frame below? Thought maybe the QT proxy but loaded into RA and the frame is like that on the R3d. Rest of clip is fine it's just on frame 2.

Camera appeared to shift from redspace back to rec709 on its own for some reason also going off the footage.

Build 20.1.3

RedTeam I have the .RDC zipped if it would help.

I'd report that to RED as they might want to see the R3D.

Does it affect the rest of the shot?

Do you need frame two?

That's a metadata processing bug found in Builds 18 - 20, fixed in Build 21.

Always good to get an image, .R3D and camera LOG file in cases like these.

Send to RED tech support and also note the revision number of RED Alert!

It only happened in camera, so there is no effect on post production...

Simon I've seen it once or twice but it usually happens on the second or third frame after turning over. As such it's never caused a major problem.

Did you get it mid shot?
Paul

Ive seen this too, But in a camera with a Bad card Writer... So beware! I had a Frame from a completely different shot at the 2nd Frame, It was really bizarre. Then I started seeing corrupt footage come off that camera later in the day. A corrupt clip on every magazine.
