I'm considering building a shoulder rig for my red. I have read that CAS Spidergrips are great. However, not many reviews. Just a two really nice write up from several years ago.
What do you all think? Are they worth the money? Is there something less expensive that does the job, Tilta, SmallRig, Movecam?
I really like that you can add a start/stop record button to the Spidergrips that fits the users hand perfectly.
What brands do you all use?
Do you attach the grips to rods, or to a shoulder plate directly with the arri rosettes mounts?
Im considering buying these two items. Im choosing the smallrig shoulder plate because the camera mounts to manfrotto tripod plate, and that plate is compatible with my Sachtler head.
