  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

CAME LA-NG 2 (Group buy test), NYC

yah i think its 1200 off the normal price.. way too rich for my blood.. id rather go with a zephyr for 9

Agreed and Thanks Zakaree
I guess we just Forget Steadi......, whatever line they name this thing (lol)

Lets get back to the topic

You're right. No doubt that is good value.

yes but the zephit is a toy only hold 10 kilos 23 (pounds) and proline hold 1kg to 24 kg (45 pounds ) also has a 2" carbon fiber telescopic 3 sections post, 24 and 12 volts.
3 batteries plates with 3 x 12volts and 1 x 24volts out and 2 x hdsdi for video signal for 10k try to find something similar at that price.

PM's with details have gone out, please let me know if you have not received info, and will like to join us!

For everyone on this meeting: Please make sure to document every aspect you don't like and make photos of it, so that I can forward it to Laing. Best would be if you could add also ideas how to fix those issues or photos of other products and their solutions.

Thanks Kwan and as Michael said i am pretty impressed too. If they put a breakout box on the top and bottom and put the monitor holder as their Battery holder then it would be a perfect peace of equipment but i am still not sure it will hold the 15KG weight limit.

Sweet! Dynamic balance dialed in! And that 9" touchscreen was fantastic!

edit: Forgot to mention, my gear is still in boxes, so I will dig out my ssd reader, transcode the old fashioned way with my laptop and get the video up soon.

Thanks, looking forward to it! So it sounds like the results were pretty positive from the test?

oh those pesky narrow NYC hallways. That CAME (LIANG) seems to fly pretty good. Keeping it level seems to be an issue. But for the price, and with some practice it could be decent. Sure beats handheld.
