  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi guys,

I need to pool together a database of my fellow Reduser Filmmakers in the Emirates, list here full name and Industry experience and or if you have a studio and or what Gear you have.

Just keep in mind that all RED EPIC cameras, about 6/10 and lenses amongst other specialty gear I'll bring, In addition this time, we'll be filming during a 60 days period, in both RGB Color imaging, as well as Monochromatic with B&W using Mr. Monochrome... ;)


While I have been working on something pretty amazing for a while, it is also do to the great success of my last Directing job in U.A.E. specifically Dubai, (for those of you that didn't view it yet can see it here: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?58043-KETCH-ROSSi&p=1104426&viewfull=1#post1104426 ) that I now am to embark in an other fantastic new adventure in Beautiful U.A.E. and this time I'll be giving Jobs to the local RU filmmaking community first, about 30 or so position all together, were I'll bring from abroad only Professionals to fill in positions that I can't fill in with Local Pros... ;)

PS: Don't ask any questions, as I can't give any details here, this will be a completely NDA project till released, and information will only be given once an NDA contract it is signed by the chosen ones.

I appreciate your offer, but I think that we went each our separate ways, and I guess is best this way, but thank you again for the generous offer, and continue to wish you the best at your new Job in Dubai.

I have way too many things too list, suffice to say we have a Epic, Redone and the only BMD in the region.
A 2000 Sq feet, Blue matt studio, 2 Edits, Sound Booth, 100KW lighting, it will just go on.

Great, thanks Yusuf.

This will be entirely shot on EPIC cameras, about 6 to 10, but I'll be providing them, with some other small specialty gear and lenses.

What I look for, is to have anything else listed, and is great that you have a nice space, that can come real handy for certain FX shots.


Crew this time is what we look for locally, form any were in Emirates, before I'll start bringing in crew from any were else, a part form some specialized pros needed to fill in some positions in the crew of about 30 or so.

I'm not living in UAE but very interest to help out with your project since we have tools that not are available i the Emirates.

I've been shooting there back and forth since 1985. ( actually in -85 it was skydiving, military )

We have a lot of tools for stabilized work:

Stab C Compact 5 axis Gyro ( takes any camera and lens, we also have a 3D mount for Epics to shoot stereo or shoot with 2 different lenses at the same time ) The Stab C works on any platform:
Helicopter, boat, Car, Wire crane etc. Can be remotely operated.
SCAI 3D wire system ( can fly gyro and also stunt people together over large areas indoor out outdoor.)
UAV Cinedrone with Epic camera.

What ever you are up to i'll think it will breath taking!

this is great, thanks for posting, we will most certainly have lots of Arial work, so my associates on this project will enjoy seen this, will be then only a matter of discussing logistics once I finish Scripting the entire project.
