  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Calling all Oklahomans!!!

Yes Mountaineer media now has a red one. we will be open for business soon. We move into our new space Monday and will be setting up a Boxx editing station to go along with our red. If you'd like to take a look drop me a line daveg@mmokc.com

I do, haven't talked with Bart for a while, great guy and awsome to work with. Tell Bart Dave said Hi.

I know this is an old thread but we are planning to have a RED One MX by fall. Our home is in Tulsa. We already have a full set of Nikon Glass and a lot of experience. We have 2 independent films under development and bread and butter comes from commercials, etc. You can check us out at http://www.fosterent.com.

I know that now this is a really old thread... Are there any Red One's in the Tulsa area? I'm interested in a rental, and for some networking.

thanks!

David Johnson

David,
We've traveled to Tulsa several times for Red One shoots. We're based in Oklahoma City. I know Kirk Martindale has one in Tulsa. His comapnay is RKM Productions and his # is: 918-633-8160. Also, Pat Flanigan has one in Tulsa: 918-230-5397.

Perfect! Thanks, David! I checked out your site, and have a feeling that we have some mutual friends/acquaintances. I know a handful of people over at Winnercomm & some of the new editing staff at Geronimo.

Right now I'm looking around at prices for some rentals, possibly for a week or so. I'm the Video Director at First Baptist in Broken Arrow, and we're a very production heavy church. There's a couple of projects coming up that we're considering bringing in a RED-One.

Also, I've never actually shot on RED, nor seen an active one in person. I'm looking for a couple local production houses that I could donate some time to get some experience. I'm planning on raising funds for an Epic/Epic-S for some documentary projects overseas this fall & next spring (whenever they're available). I'd like to have a good handle on the workflow before going into those environments.

Thanks!
