Hey everyone -

Can you share your techniques on how you calibrate your monitor with your RED? I'll probably be using a Sony BVM E-250 OLED. I'm not talking about the fancy photometric way of calbration - just quick and dirty between the camera and the monitor during production.

1) Luminance (I use the pluge - is there a better way?)

2) Chroma (I used to use Blue Gun, and line up the bars... is there a more proper way to do this?)

I haven't seen a discussion on this here and thought there could be different methods.

Thanks!

Why would you use a $23,000 monitor and not bother to calibrate it correctly? To me, that's like buying a Lamborghini and giving it cheap tires and crap gasoline.
