having a strange issue, I don't have the option to calibrate the sensor under firmware 6.2.44

Settings / Maintenance / Calibrate / Sensor /
There is no option to calibrate the sensor and I only have the options to load the files “in camera” or “on media”

I have tried rolling back to 6.1.49 and now it tells me "not supported on sidekick"

What gives?

Unfortunately you cannot initiate a sensor calibration using the UI on the sidekick itself. You must do it using the menus on an LCD/HDMI/HDSDI monitor.

Thanks for the quick response Trent.

It seems you can't do it through FoolControl either.

That's correct. FoolControl can only do what we've exposed through the RCP API. The menu tree on the Sidekick is also using the RCP API - this means they will have the same limitations. The good news is that we are constantly adding all the missing features to the RCP API and will continue to do so since our own peripherals depend on it as well.
