Calculating pixel resolution

Does anybody know an equation to calculate pixel dimension for an mx sensor. I'm shooting at WS 4.5K and would like to know the pixel resolution to get 2.40 aspect ratio.

4,5k WS on Red MX is 4480x1920px which is 1:2,33 to get a 1:2,40 aspect you need to crop to 1866px

Thanks, that is what I thought. It's just that when I use the framing option on the camera for 2.40 it appears to me that both the vertical and horizontal shrink, not just the vertical.
