For Scarlet Dragon. Does RED really wire those 3.5mm inputs differently for each camera? That'd be crazy!

They really used a different 3.5mm wiring scheme on those two cameras? Wow. That's. . . well. . . I don't even know what to say about something like that.

Thanks, Mr. Gundu.

My understanding is the 3.5 connection on dragon and scarlet is more a mono connection and that they made it a normal 3.5mm connection on raven, weapon, scarlet-w.

That correct?

Be nice to plug in battery powered dslr mics and not have to modify them by chopping the white wire...like you have to do on dragon and scarlet.

No chopping necessary for Dragon. Just need the right adapter for stereo to mono.

I thought that the Scarlet and Epic had 48V phantom power? That's normal for XLR connectors. I figured they just used the 3 pins on the XLR to the three pins on the 3.5mm to allow for phantom power to the microphones.

Thanks.
