C-Mount lenses by Kenko

As posted here by Granty: http://www.scarletuser.com/showthread.php?t=5216, Kenko is coming up with a C-Mount camera, ok odd choice at first glance, but it also seems like they are coming up with several C-Mount lenses:

Here is a better image, you can read the details on most of the lens, but they look 3rd party:

I'm curious to know how these perform and what will be the price compared to the Mini-primes. This could be a viable alternative.

Nice to see more options of C-Mount glass appearing. Anyway, just sharing some info.

Hmmm... Not very nice! hehehe

Where did you find the price of the lens?

The camera is supposedly going to be Y30,000 which is about $360 USD.

Will definitely have to check it out.

Matt, the cam is by Kenko, but they are partnering w/ Tokina for the lenses (the small low resolution ones will be low cost). Its funny that they displayed the MP5 options next to the Kenko... No doubt scarlet was in the calculations to greenlight those mp5s. I will assume pricing in the west will most likely be no better than the miniprimes, but at least there are options.
