OK, that's it. My boss has decided we don't need cameras. Dunno what he has planned for our MX but the Stage 2 opportunity has been offered up. So, we're back to being a post-only house. Sounds a bit boring to me so I guess I'll be off.

It's been a blast hangin' about here with you guys and gals. Jim and co have given birth to a genuine revolution and the Epic is, without doubt, the single best motion picture camera in the world. Exciting as that is, I don't expect to be hooked into this space where I'm going (not dead - stills) and I won't be back here until I can afford and justify the cost of Red kit for myself. And that might be a year or two down the track.

So, see you all on the flipside.

Shane

Good luck down the road Bettsy. This much be a bummer for you, but if it goes according to plan you will be ready to buy an Epic just as the Dragon sensor is starting to ship.

Yeah. It's the 645 I'm hankerin' for anyway. Thanks Paul.

Nooooo! You better hang around man, REDUser needs people from all around - even if they don't temporarily own a RED :-)

Hi Lauri. Have to be happy with 550D at the moment but it's just the beginning. Thanks for the thoughts.

Your boss sucks!!!

Stay in touch mate.

The sad thing is Mark, the guy's right. The way the business is structured the camera has mainly gathered dust. Unfortunately I'll be out in the sticks and away from "The Biz" but I'll try and find you somewhere. We need to have beers.

Hm...

I think it's legal to hang here, even without a RED... :-)

Will miss your posts!
(And get a new boss...)

Thanks Eric. I have a feeling the numbers around here are going to swell come the end of the year when every man and his dog (except me) can buy an Epic.

Mate! I've been living in the red all my life! Not sure I need encouragement on that score;-) It's actually going to be quite neat coming back here in a couple of years to see where it's all got to. Cheers mate.

Shane, I think when you come back in a couple of years, you will be able to pick right up where you left off. Sort of like watching a soap opera with the same characters. You may miss a couple of new marriages and affairs, but by then they are back with the old spouses and lovers.

G'luck and g'day, mate.

Good luck, Bettsy. You don't have to leave for good, you know...
