What is Red's policy on buying "new" gear from other owners when it comes to the Warranty? Does the Warranty transfer to the new owner?

PS - Sorry for the spelling error in the thread title but I don't see a way to change it! Then again, I guess that word could work as well, if you guys are slightly forgiving! :D

I believe the brain is the only piece that needs an official ownership transfer and the warranty is maxed out to 90 days. To do the transfer you need to send it in and pay an evaluation fee

Warranty is tied to purchaser. I wish this would change as it does not work well for customers. It may have made things easier during stage upgrades but hopefully that will be able to change in the future. A products life often outlives its owner and so should the warranty.
