Bushido - "forever young" shot on Red

...For all who dont know him in the US, he is as big as Eminem in the states.

thats funny, really never heard of him till now

funny thing that, I find a music video here to a popular American song, (well done and beautifully sang by the way. I love to hear the human voice in a language I don't fully understand. It gives me chance to appreciate the vocal quality of the voice as an instrument rather than the artist as a poet).

Only after my lingual skills are stretched and that part of my brain is once again active do I find Tom here blasting and wondering about the shooting of "ching ching." Ching ching is the Japanese word for pen1s

Only on reduser

I found it funny who knows maybe you will to.

hehe... I do think about this sometimes.

When I was living in China, I had a Canadian friend who turned me on to some awesome French rap. When you can't understand the language, you realize how important the voice is.

I will always remember one night driving through the glittering streets of Guangzuo, China in a car packed with one American, one French-Canadian, a German with dreadlocks, and a couple of Chinese people, blasting French "gangsta rap" as we cruised through streets crowded with thousands of rickety bicycle taxis and Chinese people on motor scooters... I thought, "The world is definitely becoming a smaller place!"

I can only understand bits of what Bushido is saying, but what we don't often realize is how important a great voice is in rap. I mean, 90% of today's rap is full of stupid platitudes about "making a grip" and "fucking hoes" and beefing with rivals and all of that mindless crap. But the voice itself is really important, just like with any other forum of music.
