I was considering getting a LATITUDE-MDR-M - RTMotion http://www.rtmotion.com/products/latitude-mdr-m and thumbwheel http://www.rtmotion.com/products/thumbwheel-standard-(s) for focus control on a Movi-Pro. NOW ... there's Bush Pilot !

At $285, this kinda makes it a no-brainer instead of the Latitude and thumbwheel don't you think? Comments?

Bush Pilot is a compact knob that quick releases to the MIMIC. It gives users the ability to control Focus, Iris, or Zoom. Users can quickly change between axis of control via the MIMIC screen. Bush Pilot is the first in a series of control accessories that Freefly will be releasing to help users execute any shot they can dream of. It will be our most compact, and affordable F/I/Z option.

So it looks like this unit will function similar to Latitude. It will work without external motors on electronic lenses, and with cinema lenses that need external motors, motors like Heden will also work. The Movi has the built in Tilt Stage Unit so that means this setup will only work when your camera is on the gimbal. The RTMotion Latitude lives on the camera giving the advantage to use off of gimbal.

Bob is correct. Great for cams that are on the movi. Freefly is on fire.
Lattitude sidekick is amazing for red on the movi pro simply because it is part of the cam. But this is cool for everything else
