  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Using Red Rushes ALOT. Great app. saves me loads of time...Thank you for that. Can a burn-in be enabled on output for qt? For my purposes, name/frames and STC would be invaluable. Maybe it can be done now, but I'm having a hard time finding that section in the manual. :innocent:

98% of REDrushes was written on the weekend and after midnight when the wife and kid are asleep.

I'll be setting up a paypal account for REDrushes feature requests :)

Okay fine - 2 hours to complete the TC burn in while the wife and kids sleeping - that would leave the other 62 hours to get the audio to work !
 
I'll trade you 25 hours of sleep for Burn In.
Not including the 20 that Mark already owes.

Hey Deanon, thanks for the wonderful app.

I was wondering if a stretch or distort function was on your list of things for RedRushes. The processing is much faster than Compressor and to be able to unsqueeze for Anamorphic footage through RedRushes would be great for me (and I'm sure others).

Not a huge priority for me as I can always do the distorting in FCP when editing. Would just help save on render times while cutting really... I think most would agree that sound is the number 1 thing now.

Feel free to sleep on my watch.

Why are the wife and kids staying up till midnight, you need to lay down the law and get them in bed by 7:30p. :)

Yey, I think we're getting somewhere if we're negotiating only sleep and pay-pal... Altho' kids to bed at 7:30 is quite impossible at this house...Especially while mom does all the work as I feed my Reduser 'craving'...

Under fit/stretch, choose stretch. That will stretch the image to the resolution you set in scale.
 
Thx Deanan... the app is running with 100% CPU speed on my MBPro... is it possible that you make it faster???? :)

I'll add my 2c worth (on PayPal if need be - and gee, its almost worth US 2c now too!) and say that RedRushes was a big bonus find for us.
I can't even buy R&D time here at the moment to get more Redline stuff automated, so Redrushes has already proven its worth.

a big +1 for burn-in (same functionality as Redcine, filename and frame number / timecode - but with timecode selectable between TOD and edgecode) would be awesome.

I cannot be responsible for your lap spontaneously combusting because the MBP is running at 200%.

Burn in? what's that?
 
I mean when I render with Redrender Automator for example MBPro CPU is running with 180% (Dual Core). With Redrushes only 100%.....
 
Do you see two redlines running in activity monitor?
