"Bungie rig" for cars/boats?

Hi all,
Looking for a pre-made, or plans for, a 'bungie rig' to allow for some stabilization of a RED while operating in vehicles and boats and small planes. Obviously, not looking for gyro quality. Just a bit better than hand-held and to stabilize the camera from vibration.

Any ideas out there?

One quite nice, relatively inexpensive and versatile solution to what you are describing might be the Cinesaddle.

We bought one 6 or 8 years ago and have used it on every shoot since.
