Had the pleasure of putting 242 at the start/end of a 360° "bullet-time" style rig today.

It will be interesting to see how closely the Mysterium matches Mark's 59 Canon 10D sensors!

Apologies for the camera phone shots.

In the configuration we had Mark was doing synchronous bulb exposure (i.e. holding all the shutters open) then closing just after a flash trigger (so, 1 frame but from 59 angles). I think his rig also supports sequential firing as well (so 59 consecutive angles at an arbitrary delay). He would be limited by the 10D's shooting rate with regards to FPS, I think it was on the order of 8FPS maybe?

Hi,

I used a bullet time rig, we were able to ramp from 500 fps to 25 fps, the final camera being a Viper.

500fps being sequential firing but I'm referring to contiguous firing on each camera. Fun stuff; hopefully I can post the complete sequence when they finish - at 4K for a multiprojector Watchout rig!
