"We were invited to Bulgaria to explore the country for the first time this year and it was an amazing experience to travel through this space with so much history and diverse landscapes. Some of the places we feature here are the 7 Rila Lakes, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak,
Belogradchik Fortress, Devetashka cave, and Mount Buzludzha.

WARNING: To view at 8K 60P you will need to use Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Edge.

That was beautiful! Especially the shots inside the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral! Everything was just wow!!!

I went to Bulgaria a few months ago and it was a treat to see some of those sights again in your video!
Makes me wish I brought my Red on that trip and not a dslr.

Russ and Chris,

This was not my video, but the video of a talented Red Monstro user. I always use "From Youtube" or "From Vimeo" to indicate that it is from a source other than myself. I couldn't post the actual video like I have been in my other posts because of the copyright infringement for republication that the owner of this video imposed. I'm sorry for any confusion.

Jacob,

I'm sorry for any problems this may have caused you. I thought I recognized the name of the individual/s that made this video but I couldn't remember where from.

Oh my Lord.

Maybe it's because I have a couple of NYE drinks in me, but that was possibly the best 60p footage I've seen yet. It was so stunning, and I had to replay that hot air balloon sequence just because of the sky!

I really, really, really want to know the settings they used, because it truly felt like the "window into the world" Phil Holland has always talked about (minus that damn logo in the bottom right!!!)

Brendan,

Reduser member, Jacob Schwarz, is the guy you definitely need to speak to.

I'm going to have to second this..... I watched it with the lights off on my 32" 4K dreamcolor and holygoodlord... It's the best image I've seen on this screen.. It was truly the best example of looking through the "window of the world" as Brendan said. When I was in NZ on Hobbit 2 we always felt the way everyone else did and that the 48fps didnt work very well. James Cameron did a test for all of us and showed us a sequence he shot at 60fps and the difference was noticeable. Now increase the resolution from 5K Epic-X to 8K Monstro, and I believe this is what the hype was about so long ago. Truly inspiring work Jacob, and it inspires me to use 60fps on my camera more. The long lens shots at 60fps just feel so 3Dimensional. This is just so awesome.

Jacob, you have always done great work and this is no exception. Fantastic! And really shows the potential to transport people to another place and perhaps make them want to travel there. The funny thing is, I haven’t even played it on my 4k display yet, so I know it’s going to be truly mindblowing at that point, but even on a smaller screen it was so good.

Great job, look forward to seeing more!

Thanks everyone. Yeah the monstro is amazing the best sensor out there hands down. You really have to watch this in HDR to really see all the beauty.

No question that Monstro looks great, but I am wondering about the glass. Jacob do tell...
