Build 3.0.0 sync issue

Upgraded to build 3.0.0 on our Epic 3D rig. Set monitor output to 720p (so we can view in 3D mode on Panasonic BT-LH910). Sync light turns red! Sync light is green when output is set to 1080p.

We want to use the 720p output because the BT-LH910 does not accept a 1080p signal in 3D assist mode.

I have contacted Red and am awaiting a response. Anyone have a solution?

I cannot get Epic to genlock to external sync with this build.

Hey Guys,

We have verified the "SYNC" light turning red with 720p selected. We'll be working on a fix and push it out as soon as we can.

Mark, are you having problems while monitor is set to 1080 as well? Shoot me an email and we can work it out. Nate @ RED

Nate is it just the indicator or is it out of sync? (I would test it but my rig is on its way out of town).

This may be related but I'm trying to use an Ambient ACL-203 lockit box to lock timecode and genlock to my Epic with build 3.0.0 and while the TC lights up green the SYNC lights up red. All monitoring is set to 1080.

Same problem or a new one?

I'm having the same problem - SYNC goes to RED w/ HDMI set to 1080.

Was there a specific reason the 'internal sync' mode was removed in the last firmware ? That worked for me for quick tests.
