  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Build 16 please...

2:1 makes no sense to me. 16:9 is the industry standard, it's extraordinarily close to 1.85:1, it's the delivery aspect ratio for HDTV or widescreen DVD, it's the shape of the sensor.

I don't mind having more options, but the 16:9 workflow should be the priority. If the quicktime proxies could only work in one mode, it should be 16:9, not 2:1.

I decided to shoot a short film wich has a 1:1.85 film out, on the 2:1 format.

I know that I risk to have some black stripes on the top and bottom of the image, but it "could" also be cut off by the 3% of tolerance that projectors have.

It surely would be great to have a 4k 16:9 working workflow with FCP/QT...

We're just finding out about this "Failed to lock image buffer" problem now, after our shoot. Is this blue-frame data permanently lost or is there a way to recover it somehow?
