During my first Red edit on FCP using Build 16 QT proxy, 512 x 288, when I render the clip the frame is split in 2 vertically and the right half is moved to the 2/3 to the left.
I found that the video processing set to 10 bit was the issue.
Fixed by selecting 8 bit processing.
I checked proxy edit from the previous build and it works in 10 bit.
This is FYI if it is of any interest, as I am new to Red and the Red workflow.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have any problem if you render a clip with different layers in the time line? Lim

hi,
I have also found that you have to change the settings on your sequences to match proper ntsc or pal sizes when you render. Otherwise you will loose information and this problem can also come up !
