We're going to be involved in a film shooting where there are gonna be two red cameras in use. The thing is that one of them is installed with the B17 and the other one has the 16 in it, whose owner says don't want to go up to 17 again because he did it once and had some problems.
I know it sounds strange, but that's the situation, so... our main concern now is the next one: will there be any trouble in editing footage from these different firmware versions on a same timeline/project? Has there been any change in compression or anything that could be an obstacle for a workflow postproduction that includes working with Final Cut and Scratch?
Any clues on this will be most welcome!
