And I JUST posted on another thread asking about this..

AWESOME.

Errrr..... Where may I fetch the latest rocketcine-X build?

thanks

Damn you guys move fast. This is such fun to watch as it happens.
Would love to see some new links to .r3d clips posted, especially some M-X clips. Getting tired of playing with the same old ones, though with each build they look better.

Since RedCine-X supports the Rocket, why is there still a RocketCine-X?

is there an advantage to using RocketCine-X?

right now there is an advantage to those who still want to use rsx files (ie. create rsx files and use rocketcine-X to simply process those files later).

would be nice if redcine-x would allow for the use of rsx files in processing, kind of like red rushes did, and rocketcine-x does (ie. choose the look of your processed files)

Maybe somebody asked this before but are there any plans to give the windows 'close' buttons? And it would be nice if the image would stay centered if you go full screen.

I have been working with some clips I shot yesterday and today and in a couple if i scrub the clip there is one frame where all the settings are different like a flash. None of the actual numbers in the settings change but for one frame the image looks like its reverted to the metadata and the white balance and color are all off. but then after the frame back to normal so when the clip is plying back it looks like there is a flash any one get that problem.

Was that on Windows or Mac?

Something like that would be good... ie an easy way to close the windows.
Once we to a reasonable point on the features, we'll do a UI pass to make everything easier to use.

BTW, double click to center the image.

Love the way you guys think... features first, functionality second... makes total sense... thanks for busting ass Deanan, its really awesome work.

I've had the same thing on a Macbook Pro. Doesn't show up in the transcoded image. It's only a playback glitch.

Yeah, it's hard to get functionality first sometimes without the features in so you have to leapfrog between features and functionality. After we do the functionality pass, we'll probably go back to features and so on.

Just doing some Quicktime exports to test the 101 build on Windows.

For the first time it doesn't crash ! Congrats for the great work !

I exported with success 4K 2:1 QT files with Animation codec. The Sheer codec (8 bits and 10 bits) outputs an empty QT file though, even if the export seems to run nicely (the % progress seems to go fine).

Another thing : the "Save as" function does'nt prompt the usual file dialog, and the layout save option doesn't save the .lyt file even if it asks for its name.

Really guys you're doignt great, keep up the good work !

A small question : I'm studying the possibility of buying a 24" screen (a larger won't fit on my desktop...) For those who are running the Redcine-X Windows version, is a 1920x1200 24" screen enough to display all the windows properly ? Thanks !
