  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Bugs in 5.1.35

Did you check that your Monitor Out Frequency Setting matches the framerate/timebase you record, if this doesn´t match you´ll get the stuttering image on your monitor.

Yes, I did check Monitor Out Frequency Setting. The new firmware gives you only 2 options (for Brain LCD) 30 and 60 Hz. I shoot mostly with 25fps timebase. Just now I turned on the camera and tried to pan/tilt with 135mm and did not see any jitter. But yesterday on a shoot I noticed it so many times.

About the 360 changing to 359.6. Test it with your cameras: Set it to 360 degree and change fps to any. Mine switches by itself all the time to 359.6.

Another one:
When in playback mode, I had a hooked paralinx transmitter via HDMI and the power was not fed, the camera randomly kept toggling back to live view mode. When I hooked the power to paralinx, the camera behaved well. Without power not good.

Yet probably another one, but could not track it:
With tvlogic 056w via SDI, I tried to record the sound and play it back via tvlogic's audio output 3,5 jack. The sound was rcorded fine, I saw the indicators, the file in RCX plays it fine, but tvlogic doesn't play the sound. I was searching thru the menus and couldn't find the problem. I ended up restore the camera to factory settings and now it's all fine with the sound.
Did I miss smth in the menu?
Thanks

The 359.6 might not be a bug. There was a recent change that now shows the shutter angle in its absolute form vs. rounded. e.g. For 23.976, the correct shutter angle is 179.8 instead of 180. For 24, the correct shutter angle is 180.

I don't know if this is what you are seeing or if it is an actual bug.

I guess 360 is impossible as there is no time to offload the frame before the next one.
