Just got a bug from nowhere where the incamera playback shows the wrong whitebalans and tint. Metadata still is corret. Anybody had this bug? Will probely upgrade to the new 3.3.14 as im running the 3.3.3 beta.

When you loaded the clip in playback was the "Apply Image Metadata" checkbox selected? You can double-check the setting in the "Media" dialog.

Had a similar occurrence but it was in regular record mode with a strange purple tint. The only way it went back to normal was to do a custom white balance. It then snapped back to normal.

Yeah, I just had that the other day, mine was green though. It confused me, thought I was doing something wrong.

This is usually caused by an accidental white balance.

This always happens when I accidently hit the auto WB button on the sidehandle and the middle of the frame isn't on a white area or a gray card. I just go into the advanced color temp menu and reset the tint to zero, or apply a preset and it automaticly resets the tint.

The first time this happened was in the middle of a shoot and it really freaked me out. I was all over the look menu trying to get it back to normal before I figured out it was the tint setting.

Hope that helps.

I had the same problem as Dustin. A pink tint would be on every playback clip. Scared the hell out of me on set.

My actual white balances never shifted, In RedCineX the clips would have a -100% tint and I would just have to correct back to 0. Only had it happen a few times.

Thanks for the hint Dustin! Will avoid that button.

Sorry Trent, I did not answer this until now. It was the problem. Thank you!
