  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi, i'm new here and have little problem with several files in Apple Color. Firstly I've sent FCP timeline to Color. Then I'm doing colourgrading RED files through mov files with prefix _ F in the end. Is that right? Finally I noticed that some files playing good in FCP but in Color they are stopping without any movement in clip. So where I did mistake? Just one note that native RED files in several folders not like one file but with prefix _001, _002 and etc. It can be problem too?

Ivan's more or less nailed it. 95% of the time, a frozen clip in Color is due to an existing (since Color 1.0) issue with spanned R3Ds. Ivan's link will help you fix it. The Colorfixer utility is also built into Clipfinder.

It's also possible that you've got a midnight rollover. In which case fixing it is... Difficult. Check and see if Colorfixer helps first.
