Hi there,
I just sent out my camera for a long-term rental, and this is what happened...
They got the camera, powered it up, let it sit for about an hour, and it shut off. They assumed the battery was dead, changed it, and it would not power up again. They tried many different batteries, and powering it via AC adapter, but nothing.
Anyone experienced this problem?
If I do need to send it back to RED, anyone know how long until they usually fix problems? I really really don't want to lose this job because of this.
I called RED tech support (left a message, because they were closed), and am now going to fill out a support ticket.
Thanks.
