Broken EVF- awaiting repair part since December!

I sent our broken RED EVF to RED in the UK to repair the problem in December and am still waiting for it to be repaired.

I have therefore had to rent an EVF from Holland for every RED shoot we have had since December at a cost of 60€ per day. We have now already shot 10 days this year with the RED for 5 different commercials so yet another 600€ walking out the door on renting this EVF. We shoot with top brands from all over the world and simply cannot offer a RED without a viewfinder to our clients.

I have to be honest and say if this is anything to go by, waiting such a long period for a part to be repaired does not instill much confidence in me regarding buying RED products in the future.

I am looking forward to the day when RED produce everything themselves so no one has the long wait for backordered items or for any parts needed to make the repairs.
