It might have been answered somewhere but these treads are so hard to search... anyway, here is the question:
For my (nature) documentary work I am interested in using the type of a lens such as broadcast Fuji or Canons. Fairly wide with a double extender. The type of work I do often means a one man operation, in the field, no time to change lenses or manpower to carry lots of extras. Also, the ability to use zoom cradle control and tripod zoom/start/stop controls would be nice too, and sometimes almost necessary (zooming, focusing and paning at the same time - without an AC)
So, what would be the lenses that would have this functionality while also having the quality to work in 5k? I guess a good B4 HD Fuji or Canon wouldn't quite be good enough and the focal length and field of view would change drastically. What's Red's recommendation?
Thanks.
Oh, I meant to say, this would be used with Epic S.
