Broadcast Monitor: HD2Line Pro

Anyone have any experience with these? HOw do they compare to Sony PVM or FSi?

$8,000

Yeah, I hate it when they do that too. It usually means that it's really expensive.

We use Penta HD2LINE Pro PDP 32W over a year. Good monitor, BUT for video only. dealing with REC 709 is great - stunning image for clients with AD's/music videos - but You are limited to REC. 709 space, and the blacks are slightly crushed - don't even try to do DCI grading on this. The other hidden thing - If you buy monitor with dual 3G SDI board - id DOES NOT support 4:4:4 signal unless you'll buy additional license from PENTA, it costs more than 1000$ - ridiculous. Overall - 3 stars out of 5, pretty expensive for 709 only monitor (it costs us 15000$)
