  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Brand new Epic 4.0.18 bricked

Thank you all so much for your support & kind offers of assistance. As well, thank you RED team for jumping on our support request so quickly. I have to say this really does help & adds undeniable value to the RED Eco system. I'm sure one wouldn't get this kind of love elsewhere.

As suspected our camera needs to go back. Trying to make the best of things & am responding to all PMs now.

Please can we urgently get a comment from Red as to why so many Epics are being "bricked" by 4.0.18 ???
This must be at least the 6th one I have read about. This doesn't seem to have happened with other firmware releases.

I have a shoot at the weekend, and I have been too worried to turn my camera on.
I will downgrade to 4.0.12 for the weekend if there is no announcement by then.
