  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Brain Farm Cinemas "The Art of Flight "trailer

I have the privilege of working with these riders and I have to say, they blow me away on a daily basis. That coupled with the cinematography from Brain Farm = unbeatable snowboard imagery.

Congratulations Curt, you just raised the bar once again. Here's to trying to keep up!

So who's going to the LA screening and afterparty Nov 5th? I can't wait!

Fuuuggghhhhh.... Saw this last night and aside from hating the cheesy voice overs trying to add drama where none was needed (which is obviously a subjective opinion -- I mean, "darwin range; it's where the devil lives"? Really? That's what you're saying?) it was pretty friggin' awesome. It's essentially Planet Earth/Baraka mixed in with a snowboarding movie... Ironically, the more controlled the setting (e.g. when they're riding pipe or grabbing huge air off manufactured/man-made jumps), the less incredible I felt it was. The first half of the movie is them flying up giant-ass mountains/cliffs, jumping out of the helicopters at the top, and then racing avalanches on the way down...That's where this movie shines, and you don't need to enjoy snowboarding to see how amazing it is.

I'll be in Orange County tomorrow night for the 8pm screening of "Art." It's at the Lido in Newport Beach.

Can't fucking wait!

think youll enjoy a bit to much .. look for your name in the credits . text me after tell me what ya think.
Have fun hanging with the boys.

That looks epic.

Can not wait to watch. Although I might get a little bit more scared when they doing that crazy s*** cause I got a grade 3 concussion last Christmas, just now stopped felling pains a month ago!

Scary stuff!

So, so SICK. I'm gonna write up something about it tomorrow and post it at the Timescapes forum. I really hope Curt and Brainfarm will get an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature. They deserve it. But whether the establishment recognizes this film or not, Brainfarm has pushed the art of filmmaking forward with "Art of Flight."
