this is my first little production. i wrote it, directed it, shot it, graded it, edited it and mixed it.

i'm one of the dozens of still photographer noobs that couldn't resist the siren call of the cheap BT RED ONE mx, only to realize just how much i had to learn, and just how much i had to buy. i have learned a ton and bought a ton off the reduser site. it has been a fountain of (occasionally conflicting..) information, and the spirit of support has been encouraging.

even a very modestly-sized project like this one still took a tremendous amount of work and i am humbled that a handful of great people pitched in to help me along the way.

just wanted to say thanks to red, for offering a product that opened the doors for someone like me to shoot on a real cinema camera, and to the folks who run and support the reduser site.

i hope you enjoy the video.

thanks,

scott

thanks guys.

shot with canon L lenses and cp.2s

all of the interior shots were with the cp2s. 25mm and 35mm primarily, the daytime action stuff was a mix. the widest shots were with a cp.2 15mm and a cp.2 25mm t2.1 the tele stuff was all on a 70-200 2.8 L, and there are a few shots with a 28-80 2.8 L

after using both the canon and the zeiss lenses, i decided to pull the trigger and buy a set of the cp.2s mostly because they're easier to work with, pulling focus and having accurate witness marks helps too.
