  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Boredom

I'm in agreement with your acknowledgement of a state of boredom. It would be good if I could use my money to actually purchase something. Even a T-Shirt. But alas my money is useless while waiting.
 
Quiet is good. Means they're working hard with build 16 instead of talking about it...
 
Once is a good movie, Yeah its strangely quiet. almost like the lights are on but nobody is at home. I wish they'd release build 16. I did buy some RED Tshirts, but that won't tide me over forever
 
Maybe it's a good time to start on that stop animation project you've always wanted to do, using the red of course. :)
 
I guess having the red website as home page on the browser is not making any sense these days. I just want to see that Now Serving title move up a little bit faster.:detective2:
 
think that Jim is back but still stressed up a bit from what happened in the forum after NAB ... he used to amuse us almost everyday with some hype and anticipation heating posts. That was a tough job, i understand that sure now he prefers to concentrate on actual work ... just hope enthusiasm will be back soon!:biggrin:
 
I'm busy shooting an experimental short with my Red, but when I poke back in here, it is pretty boring. Not much has changed in weeks except lame-o offtopic mudslings.
 
I think it makes a nice change to have a quieter forum with less crap talked compared to the post-NAB debacle...it also means the Red guys are obviously attending to the really important things like completely redesigning Build 16.

true .. waiting for build 16 for too long :D stopped expecting it to show up..
 
i just thought of something: build 16 will appear just few weeks before epic does.. meaning wont have time to play with it before reds are shipped back for credit :S

shawn, i love to hear about your short. What it's about, how the shoots going, maybe some grabs. if you can share, post it here or PM me.
