  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Bomb EVF?

It's just that I got yet another camera, but I'm just reluctant to buy another plain-Jane EVF if the bomb will be out soon...
I had a couple of used ones lined up, but they all seem to have fallen through...

I sympathize, Harry- I had been planning on getting the EVF and an ET support for it, but with the Bomb EVF lurking on the horizon, I just don't know. Anyone care to hazard a guess at the resale value of the current EVF once the Bomb comes out?
 
Wow, tough crowd. I agree it'd be great to start hearing some dates on things that are announced. Hopefully October's announcements will shed some light...
 
The price of the Bomb EVF is the thing that really has me stumped. I'm a little unclear as to whether the fixed zoom Scarlet includes the new EVF in its projected price of 3750. I can't imagine how it would, given the standalone price of the 2/3" brain, but Red is great at shattering expectations...
 
It's hard to get the ETA even on items that have been in the Red store for a long time. I'd be happy if I can just get ETA on a power pack, LCD and a hard drive ....


If Red continues to have many items on backorder, I presume that a lot of Red accessories will hold their value, including your EVF. Unfortunate for the buyers, good for the sellers.

I'm pretty sure the Scarlet kit will include a basic small monitor.
