bomb evf, would you please share your experience ?

hi everybody, i have a bomb evf on order and i have been reading about milky and shuttering images...
what i have been reading makes me think of a cancellation of my bomb evf :-(

any thoughts about the bomb evf problems?

Hi Norbet,

I have 3 of them... they are all pin sharp, great for focus, great for bright out door shoots were monitors become to hard to judge focus...

The only issue is milky blacks... I'ts a bit like looking at a REDLOG image... How ever there is behind the scenes action going on. The RED team have informed me over the last 24hours that they are onto it.

Don't hesitate in purchasing one, they are worth owning...

will the epic/scarlets be able to run both EVF and LCD Touch simultaneously with out a pro I/O module? is this just a firmware issue? internal harware issue? port issue?



edit: need to know if the evf is a $3200 investment or $3200 + pro I/O....

edit: will a LCD/EVF splitter be possible? as there is only 1 port on camera as is...

yes sorry - not one for patience :0 . but i did see in the manual there is only 1 EVF/LCD port via the SSD module...so i guess another module is needed. it would be gr8 if that signal could be split via a splitter tho....
