BOMB EVF STROBE question???

i just plugged my BOMB EVF it is AWESOME!!!! one thing i did detect is that i see more strobe when paning than the 5" LCD??? is that common????

You might be seeing the color separation. "Rainbow Effect" It's very evident to some people when moving your eyes across the image.

If you've never seen it don't worry about it, it probably doesn't affect you.

The display system in the EVF is a sequential RGB system. It flashes all of the RED pixel information, then all the GREEN, then the BLUE, then the RED, then the GREEN, and so on, and on...

So, yes, many people do see strobing and "rainbow" separation. I do fine with the EVF as long as I don't shift my eye around quickly while looking into it.

Not all evf's, just the newer hi-res ones are far as I've seen.

Do a test and put it in BW mode and see if you notice a difference.
