Yeah, but there's not Blu-Ray support in FCS2 yet. DVDSP only supports HD-DVD authoring, and still only standard DVD menu systems. I'm expecting DVDSP to get a nice overhaul at MacWorld, maybe NAB. The reason HD-DVD support was included (well, sort of included), is because the HD-DVD disc specs were complete at the time Apple was finishing up the last major version release, Blu-Ray disc specs weren't finalized until late last year with the shipping of the first BD players. With the format war and so much involved in authoring content for these new formats, the tools just aren't here yet. Most HD-DVD and BluRay discs on store shelves often have hand-coded XML and Java (HD-DVD and BD, respectively) menu systems. Most of the early tools are still in flux. Most 1st-gen BD titles were single-layer MPEG2, etc..

Sony and Pioneer have both just released new Blu-Ray drives, including a couple slot-load models. LG has a new HD-DVD / Blu-Ray combo drive that is a low profile slot-load unit. So I'm guessing we'll see HD disc units in the next major update to the Mac Pro and the Macbook Pro lines. ...MacWorld looks like it will be a good one. I wouldn't expect much until then.

BTW: You can currently burn H.264 and MPEG4 based HD streams to DVD and HD-DVD media that will play in HD-DVD players with FCS2/DVDSP. But it only supports 1080i and 720p at 50/60Hz right now.

adobe CS3 and one of the many blue ray recorders will do the job.

If that's the case you could just get a program like Fusion or Bootcamp, no?

Of course you would have to go out and purchase a Windows Operating System ( isn't that an Oxymoron? ).

First part incorrect due to the fact that the second part is correct. You don't have to use Windows BECAUSE the new CS3 supports BluRay, and now runs on OSX.
