Bloomfest 3 "I Love Movies"

[Jaclyn Thomas]

Hey guys!

A good friend of ours here at Zacuto, Phillip Bloom , is hosting his 3rd film competition and this time it's much bigger!

For all you aspiring filmmakers out there, this is your chance to create a narrative video and be rewarded for it! The narrative you create can either be fictional or non-fictional and will be judged by peers and a panel of experts. There are two chances to win a prize too. You could be the winner of best film judged by the experts or the people's vote winner. On top of it all, one of the prizes is from Zacuto !!!!

Of course there are rules and prerequisites that must be followed, so I'd checkout www.philipbloom.co.uk or http://exposureroom.com/contests/display.aspx/1/

Just thought you filmmakers would like to know!

Philip is a great guy and very talented artist whose work using 35mm adapters has been very well received by enthusiasts all over the world. He was most helpful and inspiring to me during my pre-RED days, while I used both the Brevis35 and the Letus Extreme on the HVX200.

Good to see he's still at it. Bigger and better than ever.

Way to go, Philip!

Cheers Tico!

You have a RED now, that's awesome. AM SOOOO JEALOUS!!

Hope you are able to enter!

Phillip,

You need to get a red boss. It's perfect for your style of work.

Here's to Bloomfest!

I'd love to see what Phillip could do with a RED!

I'd love to see what Phillip could do with a RED!

Me too.
I think Jim should give him a couple.
