  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

"Bloodbath" an horror short

great shooting. great color, loved the sound design. the tear right before the blood fell, spot on. Good job. inspires me to get back into the genre.

I think you misspelled the title... I think you meant, Bloodshower... Funnest/grossest part was how slow the motor was turning, as if it's struggling with the suction.

Really love your lighting, camera movement and framing. One thing I was kinda expecting was a pull focus to the hose when he got up from his desk....but I'm just being picky, love your work! :)

Really really good cinematography. Suspense was great - Amazing - Bravo!

This is what scarlet is for!

Actually, it was shot on the "old" Red One (not MX). The lenses we used were Zeiss Superspeed.

Thank you for watching and for your comments !

I want to give credits to the very great team I was shooting with. It was shot in only one day, and quite a long one as we had many problems on set with the blood shower effect. I'm glad everyone was so patient and professional. Post was done at Fake for color correction and Technicolor/Modulations for the sound design and audio mix. They were all fabulous and everyone gave a lot of their time to this project.

Really well done. There aren't many horror films these days that are on this same level. Really well done. Like others said, great lighting/framing/grading. Also really cool camera moves!
