Next time on the time lapse. This shit is hard! Shot with a 400mm plus 2x at ISO 3200 on a Canon 1Dx. The moon scoots through the frame real fast so you gotta jack the ISO.

Yeh i've attempted quite a few moons now (always with foregrounds though) and it's a lot harder than i thought... I only have the 70-200 with a 2x so i can't get close enough... For time-lapse you'd really need a tracker at 800 and beyond i'd imagine..

I've seen some cool wide shots that capture the whole sequence arc. For that it's all about the foreground - water and hills are best. That would take skillz since you have one shot at it. Exposure and focus is real tricky. Respect to those who can do that.
