I am like Tom, I black shade once per FW update and don't even think about it.

Kabilen,
Apologies I am unsure what FPN stands for but as you point out if you are shooting in low light conditions you need to be more careful and if you ever need to push your sensor into under exposure you would want to make sure you have green T and E in your menu. To be honest I have yet had the need to push my sensor as most of my shoots so far with my Weapon light levels have not been an issue. Whilst I have done comparative tests I tend to be conservative with a new system and I am slowly pushing the sensor over time. I have started at 800asa with the standard OLPF and I am now comfortable with 1250asa and as I have a drama with night shoots coming up I am certain I will start to push towards 2000asa. It's not always easy to be certain where it will begin to break as the break itself is subjective and dependant on the particular scene. But one thing I am certain of is the DSMC2 cameras is that they are the cleanest cameras Red has made so far.
Thanks for clarifying the Black Shading. Reading the older DSMC1 threads just threw me for a loop and got me paranoid.
Quick question as I cannot remember which setting the BS was defaulted to on my Scarlet-W as I've tried a black shading of my own.
There are 2 Cal Maps from Red 1) Factory 2) AutoCalibrate 40c which is dated to around April 11th, before I got my camera.
Which one should I use?
