I have been on a self-imposed hiatus form shooting for about two months. So my Dragon hasn't been out of it's case in that time. I am curious if I need to do a current blackshade or if I can just go back to shooting? I know I use the adaptive fan setting when I blackshade.

Thanks

Tommy

Shoot, black shading doesn't work that way, has nothing to do with time passage

Although black shades under the same temperature conditions should hold indefinitely, it's always a good idea to do a new black shade just before starting a new project, because it also maps out dead/stuck pixels which may have developed in the downtime.
