Black Shading: Manual doesn't agree with actual menus??

Hey Thrill Seekers,
Trying to create a calibration for my Raven. 2 issues arise:

1) According to screen, it's not necessary as T/E are within bounds of the default calibration. BUT...when, as the manual suggests I bump the FLUT to 8, I see a definite pattern to the noise. So, I'm trying to calibrate.

2) Manual says to execute Menu>Settings>Maintenance>Calibrate>Sensor>Create>Manual (or auto) The problem is that once I get to the Sensor part of the program, create isn't an option. I see only InCamera and On Media: \Calibration, and neither of those seems to have an option to preform a calibration.

So how do I get this done?

can i ask if you are using fool control to access the menus? some of the options aren't viewable through the normal fool control menu controls instead go to keys in fool control and follow the menu on screen from your raven and you should see the create option.
