We will not be providing a PL mount. Collimation of the RED PL mount will hold after disassembly/reassembly, so long as the adjustment collar is not loosened.

Just wanted to check... is the mount still a two-part system? That is, can we purchase both Canon and Nikon mounts and swap between them easily (without having to disconnect cables, recollimate, etc.)?

Or if one is going to be swapping mounts all of the time, he can use a Birger PL mount, which we will announce in a week or two. We may offer other mounts in the future.

The point is they figured out another way to do the birger mount so the alternate pl mount isn't necessary - it will be just as easy to go back to your RED pl mount as it would be to have a secondary pl mount to the intermediate stage of the Birger mount.
